I never knew this about motherhood...

Truly, I never knew this about motherhood. That it would be so difficult, so hard. So much energy spent that often I didnt have. I didn’t expect being so shocked at how much my life quickly changed and continues to change.

But I also never realized just how much love and power exists in the world until I brought that into the world. being a mother was like energy, love, power, faith all surguring within and through me.

Sleepless nights became moments of quiet reflection, where the weight of the world seemed to pause, if only for a heartbeat. The tiny hands that clutched at my fingers, the eyes that looked up at me with such unfiltered trust and wonder—these were the moments that made every sacrifice worthwhile.

I found strength in places I never knew existed within me. The mundane tasks of everyday life, once seen as chores, transformed into acts of love and devotion. The simple act of preparing a meal, changing a diaper, or singing a lullaby became sacred rituals that connected me to generations of mothers before me.

Motherhood taught me patience and resilience. It showed me the beauty in imperfection and the grace in vulnerability. It was through the challenges and the joys, the tears and the laughter, that I discovered the true essence of unconditional love.

In the quiet hours of the night, as I watched over my sleeping child, I came to understand that being a mother was not just a role I played but a profound journey that reshaped my heart and soul. Each day brought new lessons, new growth, and a deeper appreciation for the incredible gift of life.

And as my child grew, so did I. Together, we navigated the ever-changing landscape of life, hand in hand, heart to heart. Motherhood, with all its complexities and wonders, became the most beautiful and transformative experience of my life. So if you read this and you needed some encougement, you ARE NOT ALONE. It’s possible for us to succeed with what our soul feels motherhood should look like. A season is simply that - temporary. We are always going through our own metamorphosis.
